Waiting Period: Day 10 of 10

Woohoo, it's the last day of our waiting period! Not only that, it's also the last day we play on this kid-unfriendly playground. It was a brisk 40 degrees again today, and the caregivers had the kids bundled completely up again for going outdoors. It was so cold even the sand in the sandbox was frozen solid, so not a great day for playing overall. So we made do, and since Talia likes to take walks as a whole family, we did 2 laps around the whole orphanage today. We were the only folks outside today too, which made it different as well. The Scruggs called us and told us Jeanette was pretty ill, so please pray for her as they pick up their son next week about the same time as we get our kids.

So the plan is, tomorrow we'll just hang out around the hotel and start to get our things together. Marina will be here Monday morning to do all the birth certificate and passport stuff, and if we don't get it done Monday we have Tuesday to finish up before picking up the kids and catching our 8pm Tuesday night train to Kiev.

Please pray that the passport and Embassy stuff will go smoothly next week, we're in the home stretch now!

Alex and Talia just chillin out, literally.







Once again Vala is bundled so tight she can barely move, let alone walk. On top of that, she had boots on about 2 sizes too big. Except for our 2 walks around the building, she didn't get far today. :-)
